Hello OLV Families!

We are still in need of 3 catechists for our CCD program...1st, 4th, and 5th grades specifically.  Parents, please consider giving a bit of your time to help with this ministry!  

Each of those grades has a returning catechist that can guide you and you would be provided with manuals (including suggested lesson plans).  Due to the restraint of the physical size of most classrooms and the number of kids enrolled, we typically need 2 catechists per grade.  

Please do not feel like you need to be an expert on Catholicism to volunteer!  The main requirement is to be confirmed and a practicing Catholic (regular Mass attendance, living in line with Catholic teaching, etc) and have a desire to share the faith with the kids!  You would need to have Youth Protection Clearances as well.  

Thank you for considering this ministry!  We really want to offer the kids a quality experience and can't do it without our volunteers!  And I guarantee your faith will grow as well!
