Hello OLV Families!
It was so nice to see so many of you last weekend at our CCD Welcome Assembly! This weekend, 9/20/26, we begin our regular class schedule for all CCD classes.
This Sunday:Grades 1-8, please find the sign for your class around the perimeter of the gym and wait for your teacher and aide.
High school students and their parents will assemble in the gym this week; please find a seat in the main part of the gym.
Kindergarten parents are invited to an Open House in the CGS rooms in the Activities Center. Classes run from 10:30-11:20am. Students in Grades 1-3 must be picked up by an adult in the gym.
Here are few other instructions: Family Photos: If you would still like to upload a picture of your family, please use this link to the Google Form (my QR code on the handout last week went to the wrong page...oops!, but I think most people used the link in the email). I LOVE all the pics!!
https://forms.gle/97Nb7SkjCauDjGNn9 Flocknote: I will be sending general messages from Flocknote now. This just means that I use Flocknote to communicate with families from my end; it comes as a regular email to you (just says "Sent from Flocknote" at the bottom). If you think you are still missing emails, let me know.
You can also check general announcements on the OLV Religious Ed website; there is a feed for K-8 and a feed for Confirmation prep:

Upcoming Events:Adult Catechesis: Classes for adults wishing to deepen their knowledge of the faith are held during CCD times each Sunday. See attached. Drop off the kids, grab a cup of coffee, and join us! We asked the Blessed Mother to pray for our program last weekend; come learn more about her and the Trinity.
Jared Boxes: Volunteers are needed for packing Jared Boxes on Saturday, October 3rd.
High school students, this can be part of your 10 service hours! Come help celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this project by using this sign-up:
Pro-Life Chain: See the attached flier for the annual Life Chain event to held at OLV on Sunday, October 4th at 12:45pm. Come show prayerful and peaceful support for the unborn and their families.
See you all on Sunday!
Blessings,
Susan Ishmael
